Travis started surveying in western North Carolina at the beginning of 2000 and never looked back. He started his career as an instrument man and quickly became a crew chief. In 2007 he began on his path to obtain his licensure.
He began surveying 1 acre to 10 acre tracts of land all the way up to a 8,000 acre Boundary survey for a Conservation agency. He then got into corporate surveying where he ran projects from 20 mile route surveys for power and gas engineering design and installation. He was a survey director for the southeast region where he ran and managed large ALTA surveys for the solar and battery storage industry. He ran these projects all the way through the original ALTA survey to purchase the land to the installation of the array field to the As-built survey at the end.
